Born to Flaviano Casimiro Cuevas and Rosa Olea Moreno on September 8, 1974 at Jojutla Morelos. Raul worked as an oilfield roustabout for the Long Brothers for many years. "He was a good brother, like a hero in our eyes. He was as far away as the sun, but when I needed him, he appeared like daylight and as a son he was excellent. He always wanted Mom and Dad to have a very big smile. In Mexico, he worked as a soldier. He liked to hunt animals and pamper his mother. He was a mama’s boy, like two drops of water".
While in America, he enjoyed fishing the creeks of South Arkansas with his friends who he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his dad Flaviano Casimiro Cuevas.
He is survived by his mom; brothers Jesus, Flaviano, Ezequiel and Isaias; sisters Celia, Guadalupe, Gabriela, Sarai, Rosa and Abigail; and many special friends in Norphlet, including, a very special lady, Darlean Hutchison.
The employees of Long Brothers Oil Company will serve as pallbearers.
