Relda Lowery

Relda Patterson Lowery, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the age of 97. She was born on a farm near El Dorado, and spent most of her life where she was raised. She was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Souls Chapel Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Obie L. Lowery; her parents, George A. and Lillie M. Patterson; sisters, Nellie Patterson, Gladys Patterson Risinger, and Linnie Bell Patterson; brothers, Allen L. Patterson, George Everett Patterson, and Robert Ray Patterson; niece, Geneva Risinger Koltys; and nephew, Earl M. Risinger.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lowery Chandler and her husband Les Chandler of El Dorado; granddaughter, Shannon Chandler Loucks and husband Steve Loucks; great grandson, Cooper Loucks; and great-granddaughter, Landry Loucks, all of Richmond, Texas.

She is also survived by nephews, Brent Patterson of Houston, and Bobby Patterson of Blanchard, LA; and nieces, Brenda Patterson Futch, Sally Patterson Hearn, both of West Monroe, LA and Gwenda Patterson Futch of Dallas.

Relda was a beautiful Christian lady who will be missed by her family and friends very much.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Bro. Fred Futch officiating.
