Richard Clawson

Richard attended a two year college, and worked as a lab technician for Lion Oil. He was also, a part of the Liberty Methodist Church in Louann.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife, Loreacy; sister, Lucille Berry; Brother, Lecroy Clawson; and daughter, Sandra Gutierrez.

Survivors include sister, Joanne Smith and Melba Tomlinson; grandchildren, Kevin Chesney (Cheri) and Amber Raines (Michael); great grandchildren, Kevin Chesney Jr. (Kelsye), Brie Ross (Kelly), Lexi Raines, Hailey Raines, and Michael Jr.; great-great grandchildren, Cash and Conleigh Chesney.

A special family friend, who is more like a son, Tim Scott, has been a part of the family since his birth. Tim and Richard were inseparable. They have owned businesses together and worked together throughout the years. Tim and his wife; Phyllis, have played a huge part in caring for Richard. We are eternally grateful for the unwavering friendship, care, and love Richard found in Tim.

A visitation for Richard will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Liberty Methodist Church and Cemetery (Louann), 4314 Ouachita Road 2, Louann, Arkansas 71751. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 4314 Ouachita Road 2, Louann, Arkansas 71751. A burial following service will occur, 4314 Ouachita Road 2, Louann, Arkansas 71751.
