Robert T. Jorgensen

He was born January 5, 1959 in Little Rock, AR to Rex M. Jorgensen and Billie Ruth Beebe Jorgensen. Bob earned his BA of Social Work from Northeast Louisiana University, and his Master of Social Work from UALR. At the time of his death, Bob was a Social Service Clinician with the Substance Abuse Program of the Little Sandy Correctional Complex. He was an active member of AA, and a member of the NASW. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in El Dorado.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his grandparents Anton and Marie Adamsen Jorgensen, and William and Odessa Currie Beebe.

Survivors include his daughter Renee Juliette Jorgensen of El Dorado; brother, William C. Jorgensen and wife Anna of Norphlet; nephew, James Aaron Engle, and many friends in Morehead.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church with a Memorial Service following at 12:00 pm with Rev. Patrick Fleming and Rev. Rob Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

A memorial will also be held in Morehead, KY in March.
