He was born September 21, 1937 to Howard Owen Kelley and Leola Elizabeth Anderson Kelley in El Dorado, AR. Robert retired as Information System Director for Murphy Oil Corporation and later retired as administrative assistant to County Judge Bobby Edmonds.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and brother, Bill Kelley.
Survivors include his brothers, Jack Kelley (Marybeth) of El Dorado, Walter "Bugs" Kelley of Big Sandy, TX, Clifton "Kip" Kelley (Sheila) of El Dorado; three children, Karla Darden (Russell), James Kelley, Jacquline Vaughn (John Paul) all of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Ashley McDaniel (Aaron), Dillon Darden (Leslie), Robert Vaughn (Christine), Brett Vaughn (Katelyn); and seven great grandchildren, David Martin, Mason McDaniel, Addison Vaughn, Avery Vaughn, Blanton Darden, Elliot Vaughn, and Parker Vaughn.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, in Young's Chapel with Bro. Adair Ellen officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Lisbon Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
