He was born May 10, 1940 to the late Wade Harris McCollum and Melle Elizabeth Sewell McCollum in Memphis, TN. Robert was employed by Lion Oil before starting his own business, A 1 Small Engine Repair.
Survivors include his two daughters, Roberta Mason, Melissa McCollum; three grandchildren, Michael McCollum, Shelby Jarosek (Marshall), Emily Mason; and one great granddaughter, Adaline.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young's Funeral Directors.
