Robert Lee Stroud

He was born January 7, 1945 in Pineville, LA to Robert Lee Stroud, Sr. and Bessie Mobley Stroud. Robert was an Army Veteran and was owner and operator of RLS Residential Maintenance in Farmerville, LA. He was a member of Liberty Church in El Dorado. Robert loved fishing and gardening, he was passionate about his work and most of all he loved his family.

Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Johnny Ray Stroud.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Temple Stroud of El Dorado; three sons, Kevin Stroud (Kelly Doine) of Deville, LA, Robert Jason Stroud of Bastrop, LA & Derek Thomas Stroud (Tiffany) of Bastrop, LA; three step-sons, Tony Pendleton (Samantha), Jeff Pendleton(Robin Hayes) and Chis Pendleton all of El Dorado; three brothers, Gilbert Stroud of Colfax, LA, David Stroud of Pineville, LA and Frankie Rachael of Alexandria, LA; two sisters, Rose Marie Guffy & Willie Pearl Clark both of Colfax, LA; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Liberty Church in El Dorado with Rev. Jim Bolding officiating and under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
