Rodney Skipper

Rodney Shane Skipper, 50 of El Dorado, passed away, Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born August 16, 1966, to Tom Hough and Dorothy Eileen Weatherford in El Dorado, AR.

He was employed as a welder for Milam Construction and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death are his step-dad, Robert Skipper, step-son, Robert Shane Skipper; and step-daughter, Stephanie Grace Rollins.

Survivors include his mother, Elieen Weatherford of El Dorado; companion, Shelia Clawson; two brothers, Sammy Graham, Carl Galberaith both of El Dorado; two step-daughters, Jodi Cain (Allen), Abigail Rollins of El Dorado; seven grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, and family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at Young’s Chapel with Bro. Ricky Smith and Stacey Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery on Crain City Loop under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to a memorial fund with Milam Construction for the family.
