Born September 30, 1943 in Chico, CA he was the son of Eric and Irmma Carlson who preceded him in death.. Ron had been employed in maintenance for over thirty years at Hillsboro Manor Nursing Home. He had served in the U. S. Army and was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Carlson of El Dorado and sons, Dale Carlson and Eric Carlson. Also surviving are 2 step-sons, Tony Crain (Janice) of Jersey, AR and Tim Crain (Bridgett) of Houston, TX along with one grandson, Joshua Crain of Summerfield, LA.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Ella Manor Nursing Home (formerly Hillsboro Manor)
Cremation services provide by Young's Funeral Directors.
