

He was born September 6, 1940 in Crossett, AR to the late Luke and Marie Gardner. He was a graduate of Crossett High School. Ronnie spent most of his life as a cross country truck driver and was retired from El Dorado Paper Bag. Ronnie was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marjorie Gardner; and sister, Sandy Rice.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Janice Kearney and husband Joe of Fort Smith, AR; sons, Dewayne Gardner and wife Sharon of Parkers Chapel, AR; Stanley Gardner and wife Elvia of Odessa, TX; daughter, Teresa McDermott of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Summer Cameron, Maci Steele of Parkers Chapel, Crystal Swearingen, Leslie Clugston of Norman, OK, Ashley Gardner, Brian Gardner, Casey Gardner and David Gardner of Odessa, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, loving friends, a very special friend who cared for him with a heart of gold, Mrs. Connie King, and a whole team of loving people at Timberlane Health & Rehab.
Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at Pinewood Memorial Cemetery in Crossett, Arkansas under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
