Born on August 1, 1936 in Floydada, TX; she was the daughter of Andrew Hamilton Hefner and Vera Sally Baker Hefner. She worked as a nurse’s aide at several local nursing homes and attended Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Irene Matthews and Fannie Wendt.
Survivors are a son Max Loy; daughters Cindy Thompson and Cheryl Ann Hughes all of Houston, TX; a sister Lucille Sparks of Tulsa, OK along with 5 grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery by Young’s Funeral Directors.
