Sadie Modean Skipper

She was manager of the Jr. Food Mart and Hurry Back convenience stores for 30 years attended Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana.

Modean was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lonnie R. Skipper of Bernice, LA; three daughters, Bonnie Jean Williams (Glenn) of West Monroe, LA, Debbie Joyner (David) of El Dorado, Diana Moore (Randy) of Little Rock; one sister, Melba Bussell of Smackover; one brother, William Vines, Sr.of El Dorado; six grandchildren, Jerry Joyner (Jamie) of El Dorado, Reid Moore (Erica) of Little Rock, Jennifer Joyner of Fayetteville, Amber Moore of Little Rock, Leta Joyner of Little Rock, Coleton Robertson of West Monore, LA; one great grandson, Dylan Joyner of Fayetteville; two nieces, Lorinda Swilley, Melinda Burton; two nephews, Greg Bussell, Bill Vines, Jr.; and her beloved pets, Cricket and Susie.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, in Young’s Chapel with Rev. David Preston officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cliff Swilley, Greg Bussell, Cody Bussell, Luke Bussell, Daniel Burton, and Reid Moore.
