Born April 2, 1937 in El Dorado she was the daughter of Freeman and Helen Leveritt Beavert. Shirley was a self-employed cosmetologist and of the Methodist faith.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband Elgin Bennett, a son Lee Bennett and a brother, Jerry Beavert.
Survivors include a son, Gary A. Tinsley (Kristen) of Fayetteville, AR, three daughters, Margaret Parker (Jerry) of Smackover, Sharon Pinson (John) of El Dorado and Mona Roberson (Randy) of Smackover. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Smackover Cemetery with Rev. Robert Thornton officiating. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
The family will be at the Roberson residence, 226 Union Road 458, El Dorado, AR.
