Shirley Mooty Brumley

Born on May 5, 1938 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Simmie and Millie Gorum Mooty. A homemaker, Shirley had worked as a bookkeeper for Walgreen’s and at onetime operated Shirley’s Dinner at Standard-Umpstead. Shirley loved working in her flower garden, quilting and caring for her family by preparing special meals. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a son Dennis Wayne Tull.

Survivors are sons Lloyd (Lisa) Tull of Warren, and William ‘Billy’ Tull of Strong; daughters Shannon Brumley of El Dorado and Becky (Richard) Church of Bentonville, AR; a brother Bill (Vada) Mooty of Natchitoches, LA; a sister Floy Gene (Julius) Garner of Three Creeks; her former husband Henry Brumley of Smackover; along with 8 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.

A graveside memorial service by Youngs Funeral Directors will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Lisbon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Bales officiating.
