

Born February 10, 1925, in Clarksdale, MS, she was the daughter of Fred Reames and Bertie Forrest Reams. A graduate of Union High School, Shirley worked for the First National Bank in El Dorado for 36 years.
On June 4, 1967 Shirley and Brough were married at Union Baptist Church, El Dorado. After 30 years of marriage he preceded her into the presence of the Lord. Also preceding her are her parents, and sisters, Mary Louise Reames and Marguerite Katherlyn Jackson; brothers, Forrest Eugene Reames, Fred Oneal Reames and Rudoph Elliott Reames.
Survivors include three sisters, Joanne Barnette, Patricia Ann Chandler and Carol Lou Morrison; ten nephews, Richard Willfred Jackson, Allen Forrest Jackson, Rodney Oneal Barnette (Susan), Steven Glen Barnette (Johna), James Scott Barnette (Katie), Dwayne Reames Chandler, Christopher Todd Nethercutt, Rev. Travis Wayne Reames (Sue), Fred Oneal Reames, Jr. (Nancy) and Forrest Eugene Reames (Patsy); four nieces, Frances Jackson Farias (Phil), Louann Chandler Bradham, Sandra Beth Reams Jennings (Larry), Vicki Ann Reames Jones (Mike); and 13 great nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Ainsworth, Steve Pelz, and Garland Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
