

Steve B. McLelland, 63 of El Dorado, passed away, Sunday, January 3, 2016, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born October 26, 1952, to Earl and Wanda Murphree McLelland in El Dorado, AR.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. Steve retired from Albemarle in Magnolia, AR where he worked as an operator and EMT, and was an operator at Tetra in El Dorado. He was a Second Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and step-father, Hubert Lindsay.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Doty McLelland of El Dorado; son, Brian McLelland (Becky) of El Dorado; daughter, Alison Beebe (Adam) of Norphlet; brother, Scott Sacarias (Misty) of Athens, GA; sister, Diane Cox (Doug) of Benton, AR; six grandchildren, Taylor, Hayley, Laney, Emma, Clara, and Liam; and two stepsons, Craig Beck of Brandon, FL, Justin Dewey of El Dorado; and step-daughter, Stacy Dewey of Terra Haute, IN.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Young’s Chapel with Deacon Robert Hughes officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Terry Reed, Glenn Owens, Michael Hughes, and Taylor McLelland.
