Sylvia Monette Kyle

She was born November 6, 1939, to Bob Nelson Taylor and Eva Ryland Taylor in Lillie, LA. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death are her parents; step-mother, Celie Taylor; brother, Malcom Taylor and his wife, Billie; and great nephew, Matthew Nelson Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Kyle of Spearsville, LA; two sons, Jason Kyle of Spearsville, LA, Scott Kyle (Shannon) of Lafayette, LA; sister, Melba Goodwin of Spearsville, LA; two granddaughters, Payten Kyle of Lafayette, LA, Emily Troxclair of Boutte, LA; a special nephew, Nick Charles; and a special niece, Sandra Charles both of Spearsville, LA.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Antioch Church of Christ with Terry Cole, Leroy Skipper, Tommy Bennett, and Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Antioch Church of Christ.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Dunn, Keith Hernandez, Leon Taylor, Greg Taylor, Nick Charles, and David Williamson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Green and Jack Taylor.
