

He was born August 16, 1949 in El Dorado to William Ray Baker and Tommie Jane Ray Baker. Harold was a 1967 graduate of El Dorado High School and attended Southern State College. He lived in Fort Collins, CO from 1976-1984 where he worked as a surveyor. After moving back to El Dorado he worked at El Dorado Water Utilities as Treatment Superintendent. Harold was a member of Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church, Arkansas Waste and Water Association and Friday Night Poker Club.
Preceding him in death is his dad.
Survivors include his wife Patti Baker of El Dorado; his mother, Tommie Baker of El Dorado; mother-in-law, Nell Williams; three sisters, Jo Ann White of Sherwood, AR, Brenda Baker of Little Rock and Kathy Murph (Jerry) of Parkers Chapel; a brother-in-law, Paul Williams (Rilla) of Fort Collins, CO; three nieces Kelly Watson (Matt), Amy Anderson (Adam) and Whitney Murph; two nephews, David Murph and Bayley Williams; a great niece, Kinley Watson; a great nephew, Hayden Watson and two special beloved pets Lucy and Ethel.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
