Tiny Mason Hunt

Tiny Mason Hunt, 88 of Junction City, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Life Care Specialty Hospital in Ruston, LA. She was born February 13, 1927, to Benjamin F. and Trudie Hayes Mason in Union County, AR.

She retired from the Junction City School district, where she worked as a cafeteria worker. Tiny was a member of Wesson Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, cooking and helping her neighbors.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Norman W. Hunt; son, Kenneth Hunt; brother, Albert Mason; foster parents, Bennie and Nellie Mason; and foster sister, Willie Mae Loftin.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Allen (Eddie) of El Dorado; granddaughter, Renee Mekelburg (Ken); three grandsons, Glynn Allen (Donna), Keith Allen (Janell), Brent Allen (Ashley); daughter-in-law, Minnie Hunt of Shreveport, LA; eight great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Claude Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to Wesson Baptist Church or to Rehobeth Cemetery.
