

Velma Ruth Clark, 74 of El Dorado, passed away, Friday September 13, 2013, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born March 17, 1939, to Louis Lacey Cross and Della Mae Cross in Hamburg, Arkansas.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Velma worked as a security guard for Cross Oil.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband of 40 years, Travis Clark; daughter, Teresa Gail Clark, son, Bill Pollock; brothers, King Willie Cross, Lonnie Cross, and Hillard Cross; and a sister, Ruby Adams.
Survivors include her sons, Calvin Pollock of El Dorado, Tron Clark (Bobbie), of Anchorage, Alaska Jerry Don Biggs (Debbie); daughter, Sandra K. Vickers of North Little Rock, AR.; grandchildren, Jeremy Biggs, Tron Clark, Jr., Christy Clark Linn (Justin), Danielle Vickers, Chris Vickers Chris Biggs, and Eric Wiser; great grandchildren, Micayla, Aubrey, and Jamison; and a brother, Billy Wayne Cross (Lorene) of Bastrop, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Newson officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Crossett, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
