Reed grew up in El Dorado. He graduated from El Dorado High School and continued his education at the University of Central Arkansas. He attended College Avenue Church of Christ and was Baptized in February of 2002, under minister Dan Williams. Later he attended Mt. Union Baptist Church with his family.
Reed started his career with Terminix and landed at his current job at Clean Harbors, where he met and held on to some close friends. Reed was an outdoorsman. He still has many dear friends from his hobby of duck hunting, motor cross racing (311), high school baseball, fishing and many outdoor activities with his father who taught him to be an outdoorsman and survivalist as well as being a man.
Reed paused a lot of his love of the outdoors for a greater love, his son Jackson. Reed is a great father, friend, brother, and son. Reed would help anyone he could, friend or stranger.
He loved so hard and would do anything for anyone. Reed loved everyone, he always wanted to make people smile with his goofiness, his infectious smile, and he never cared what anyone thought when he would make silly faces or say crazy things. He would bust out dancing, and he was a terrible dancer, but if he heard a beat on a song, he would still break out with terrible dance moves.
Reed will be missed by many, but no more than his father, mother, sister and Jackson. This will be a terrible hole that is left to heal (if ever).
Our son is a great example of work, friends, family, compassion, persistence, and fatherhood.
God bless his soul, God bless his son, God Bless his family and friends. We will never forget him. Our love is eternal. We will meet you with Jesus.
