Wayne Golden Kinder 83, of Smackover, AR passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at South Arkansas Regional Hospital. He was born November 27, 1941 in Smackover, AR to Golden Argent Kinder and Cecil Inez Smith.
He earned a Bachelor degree from Hendrix University and was the owner/operator for Kinder Financial. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smackover.
Preceding him in death along with his parents are his wife of 60 years, Patsy; son, Kevin Kinder; grandson, James Abel Kinder; and brother-in-law, Paul Wayne Stevenson.
Survivors include his grandson, Nick Kinder; granddaughters, Darian Kinder and Hannah Venters; great granddaughter, Holly Kinder; daughter-in-law, Lucy Venters-Kinder; and brother-in-law, Pete Stevenson.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Smackover Buckaroo Sr. High Football team.
A visitation will be held on October 1 at 4:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Smackover with a memorial service immediately following at 5:00pm.
