

Born on October 18, 1944 in El Dorado, AR; he was the son of William ‘Red' Felts Chamberlain Sr. and Mary Jane Hughes Chamberlain. William was a pipefitter and a master plumber where he was a member of the Local 706 Union. He served in the Army Reserve for 6 yrs. William loved to travel especially with his family. He was a Boy Scoutmaster of Troop # 23 and had 10 Eagle Scouts. He helped put in the swimming pool at the Desoto Boy Scout Camp. William was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening, hunting, fishing, camping and building. He was an all around "jack of all trades".
William was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Cupples Chamberlain of El Dorado; a daughter, Jackie Phillips and husband Chris of El Dorado; a son, Frank Chamberlain and wife Erika of Magnolia; a sister, Pam Lout and husband David of El Dorado; a brother, Dwayne Chamberlain and wife Donna of El Dorado; grandchildren, William, Jacob, Noel, Austin, Kelsey, Victoria and Connor; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Young's Chapel with Dr. Dwain Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Young’s.
Memorials may be made to Hope Landing or the Desoto Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
