What a wonderful man! We prayed for healing on this earth, but the Lord had bigger plans! He helped us when Dad was sick and I’ll never forget him! He was also my Sunday School teacher in my 20’s! I’m sure he heard, WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!

I worked at Murphy years ago and enjoyed his friendship. Did not know he had become ill. I have relatives from Minden who were Colvins and we always joked that we were related. So sorry.

I first met Gill when I came to work at Murphy Oil in 1974. Gill was a great man. He was always friendly and I loved working with him. We always seem to find something funny to talk about. He had a very positive outlook on life and loved his job and coworkers. He will be truly missed in our community. God bless his dear family.🙏🏻
