He was a self-employed construction worker and was of the Church of Christ faith. Scott enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dallas Smith.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Smith; siblings, Terry Allen (Donnie); Tracey Smith (Cindy); niece, Melissa Snider (Jeff); and nephews, Michael Allen (Megan), Will Smith (Valarie), Ty Smith, and Drew Smith (Marissa).
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at Young's Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Jones Cemetery in Amity under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
