He was born September 28, 1934 in Ingalls, AR to John Hollis Huitt and Hettie Johnson Huitt. Willie worked as a supervisor for Texas Eastern Pipeline and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Brenda Cranford Huitt and a brother, Otha Mac Huitt.
Survivors include his two sons, Steve Huitt and wife Nancy of El Dorado, Mike Huitt of El Dorado; daughter, Leigh Ann Bolin & husband Tim of El Dorado; a sister, Sue Ritner & husband Joe of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Angela Huitt, Josh Bolin, Sarah Bolin, Meredith Bolin, Joseph Bolin, Stephanie Owens, Michael Huitt & Marcus Huitt; great-grandchildren, Bryce and Luke Owens & Preston and Cameron Huitt and a sister-in-law, Evora Huitt.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Steve Pelz officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
