Zella Elizabeth Ray

Zella Elizabeth “Betty” Ray, 69 of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born March 10, 1944, to Robert “Bob” and Martha B. Davis Ray in Brownstown, AR.

She worked as manager of Ryan’s and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death are her parents; and brother, Robert “Bobby” Ray.

Survivors include four sons, David Ray (Tammy), John Rich (Sarah), Tommy Rich (Kelly), Randy Rich (Wendi) all of El Dorado; sister, Frances Garrett of Texarkana, AR; brother, Bill Ray of Texarkana; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Bro. Dan Hall officiating. The family would like to thank the hospice staff for the exceptional care and support they have given to Betty and her family.
