My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Armstrong. She was my 5th grade teacher and the best teacher I have ever had . She set high expectations and pushed all of her students to be better. She had a unique way of teaching through music and poetry. She unlocked my creative side  that I didn’t know I had. Mrs. Armstrong is my teacher that inspired me to be a teacher.
Today I am a special education teacher and work hard to make a difference in my students lives. I only hope to be as great as her. My creativity and love for music helps me to reach my students at a greater level.
Thank you Mrs. Armstrong for being that teacher that truly impacted my life. Rest In Peace  

Adela was a great friend. We shared our joys and problems and at the end we could always laugh about it.  Her greatest joy was to  be around her children. She was so proud of all her children and talked about them often.  I am very sorry I did not attend her services, but I didn't  learn of her passing until this week.
Please accept my condolences and know I will be keeping all of her family in my prayers.

Adela was a friend and colleague, a great humorist and story teller, and loved teaching, having a good time with friends and travel.  I couldn't help but feel better when around her and sharing a joke or two.  I will miss her at various meetings and working with her.

I am saddened by the loss of my amiga-hermana Adela. We met at Thomas Manor Elementary in 1985. She helped me tremendously being it was my first year as a teacher. Our friendship grew throughout the years. We enjoyed our time in El Paso and Sonora with each other’s family and friends. Adela will remain in my heart forever. We  spend many fun moments together. We supported each other during sad times as well. I will miss our phone visits and our yearly days here in Sonora. My condolences to all of Adela’s family and friends. 🙏🏼🙏🏼💛😢

My beautiful neighbor you are missed dearly.  Now who will help me gain my wings?  Oh, how that would irk you when I would say that.   You would always tell me I already had them because I was your angel.   You were a blessing to me even though you thought it was the other way around.
Thank you for all the times you were there for me.  All times you scolded me, brought me to a cleansing cry through you words, and then made me laugh.  You were always very frank with your words and that was much appreciated.  Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.  
Thank you for all the years of being my classy, caring and encouraging neighbor.  Thank you for being you.  May you be resting in God's eternal peace, Adela.

Yesterday when I heard the news about the passing of Adela, I was shocked and truly saddened. I had just seen her about 2 weeks ago here in Sonora. I've been seeing her once a year in Sonora for the past few years as she and her faithful friend, Ronnie, came to visit Erma and me. We always shared great food/meals, conversation,  laughs, and companionship. She was a firecracker with a big heart! She will be missed!
