My beautiful grandma, it’s been so hard these past few days, but I know you’re no longer hurting and you’re at peace. I’m going to miss your bean burritos that you would always make me after school, watching los guapos with you in the mornings, and just being able to be in you’re presence the majority of my life. I’ll always cherish our laughs together and all the beautiful moments we had together. It’s time for us to celebrate the beautiful life you lived. You’re at home now grandma just like you wished I don’t have a a lot of pictures with you, but I would enjoy those moments I had with you. I promise you grandma I’m always going to tell la muñeca all about you because I know you loved her so much and she loved you. You both impacted each other so much in that time I was taking care of you and she is still going to know who her sepsy grandma is. I can go on and on about you all day grandma you mean so much to me, but I’m  just going to have to cherish all those moments we had together and stay at peace because I know you’re okay now and that you’re at peace. I love you too much, your sugar.💓💓

My greatest memories were weekends spent at grandma’s house. I’d wake up every morning with her by my side. We’d then go to the kitchen and she would turn on her “corridos” while she made me breakfast and decaf coffee (I was about 5 and wanted coffee because she did). We’d eat across from one another with our coffee and she’d share her memories of each song while she sang along. We grew so close, I never wanted to leave her side and I would cry when I had to go back home. I was her “compañero”.. There is nothing I am more grateful for than to have such a beautiful bond with grandma. 
It hurts so much to know you’re gone, but you will always be in my heart. I will cherish the life lessons you taught me at that very same breakfast table and I’ll always remember your beautiful singing.

Mi madrecita...Everything reminds me of u. U have left a  legacy that is beautiful & strong. I am so proud of you mama. I know now ur in God's loving arms ...no more suffering..but it's so hard to let u go.😢😢 I thank God for giving me those last 4 hours just you and I alone. I am going to miss our birthday celebration together, it will be one of the most difficult times I will have without you mom but we will be saving a spot for you because I know you will be there in spirit! Love you mama!

What I remember about tia Ali was her faith in God, that no matter how she felt in her body  she believed that she would be healed. Now she is healed whole and rejoicing in heaven with your tia Cande.

God gave me many special moments with my mother throughout her life that I will cherish forever. She taught me to always forgive and to love my children like how she did with us. She taught me to always trust and believe in God. She was my culinary teacher, she was the best teacher I have ever had. I miss my mamacita very much. She's rejoicing with our heavenly father. I would always tell her that I love her and she would always say "me too, I love you too much." Many good times, I will always continue making her recipe of her tamales and her menudo just how she taught me. Rest in peace mamacita, you'll always live through every one of us. Thank you for being such a loving mother.

 I am gonna miss you, but now you and my grandma are reunited in heaven. If I would've known that was the last time I was going to see you I would've stared at you longer, if I would've known  it was the last time I was going to touch you I would've hugged you and held you longer, if I would've known it was the last time I was going to speak to you I would've said I love you a million times more, if I would've only known.

I can imagine you dancing in Heaven with your husband Tio Roberto, my Grandpa Servando and my Grandma Candy what a celebration it must be dancing and praising God!
