Alicia B. Davis, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2019, due to complications with renal kidney failure and multiple myeloma. She was born on February 28, 1945. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Alicia is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert L. Davis. They met at the First Edition establishment back in 1983. That night they shared a night of dancing, drinks and laughter amongst friends. When the night ended, he gave her a romantic hug as she gazed into his big blue eyes and have been together ever since. She is also survived by her four daughters and son: Nancy Davis, Patricia Shaffer and husband Chad Shaffer, William Davis, Denise Ortiz and husband Rick Ortiz, Ashley Bradford and husband Michael Bradford; grandchildren, Kyle Garnett, Cody Davis, and Ezekiel Bradford. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.

Alicia was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had an effervescent personality and always made people laugh. Everyone always knew where you stood with her. Either she liked you or she didn't. She always told you the truth, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. She liked four letter words, just as much as she loved casinos. She made friends wherever she went and was a marvelous cook.

As a mother, she was a mentor, teacher, friend and confidant. She shared words of wisdom over coffee during trying times, tears in times of sorrow and laughter in times of joy.

Please join us in celebrating her life, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St., El Paso, TX. Viewing times are from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.and the rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

I will always remember the nights we would go over and she would get up even if it was late to hang out with us, and our crazy long talks always making me feel special.

I want to say thank you to the entire family for accepting me into your circle as your own, for always making me feel welcome. My memories of her are always positive and full of light and laughter, and that is how I will remember her and i am sure she would want us all to remember her that way. She was always bright and full of humor which impacted my life as well as I’m sure everyone that crossed her path. I feel blessed to have known her and wish I could’ve known her even longer than the time I had with her, but God wanted his angel back and now she will watch over those she loves.
Miss you!

My momma,
I'm so lost without you but I know that I will always have a beautiful guardian angel watching over me. I will never forget all the amazing conversations we used to have and all the times we'd just sit there drinking coffee. You were my rock and my best friend. I love you so much and I promise I will continue to make you proud. Ezekiel loves you very much I promise that everyday I will remind him how much you loved him. I love you momma ❤️
