Alicia Tellez

With deep love and sorrow, the family of Alicia Tellez announces her peaceful passing. Alicia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and strength touched everyone who knew her.

Born with a generous heart and a spirited soul, Alicia dedicated her life to her family and her home. As a homemaker, she poured love into everything she did—whether it was preparing a meal, sharing her wisdom, or filling her home with laughter and music. She found joy in the songs of Vicente Fernández, Marco Antonio Solis and Juan Gabriel, whose voices often echoed through her home as she sang along.

Alicia was the beloved wife of the late Alfredo Tellez, and a cherished mother to her daughters Marta Alicia Rodriguez, Carmen Tellez, Yvette Holguin, son in law Michael Holguin, Patricia Worsham and son in law Albert Worsham. She was the proud grandmother of Eduardo Rodriguez Jr., Stephanie Garcia, Claudia Garcia-Townsend, Matthew Ryan Rodriguez, Sean Andrew Rodriguez, Timothy Jay Worsham, Yvette Nicole Holguin, Luis Andres Garcia (Andy ✝️), Angela Christine Worsham, Jessica Ryan Holguin, and Katelynn Paige Worsham, and blessed with twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense happiness and pride.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alfredo and her dear brothers Jose Antonio Mota and Cesar Armando Mota, mother Enedina Mota and grandson Luis Andres Garcia.

Alicia’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her—her family, her friends, and all who were lucky enough to share in her kindness, laughter, and love.

A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas, 79915, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10:30 am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, located at 8011 Williamette Ave, El Paso, Texas, 79907.

A graveside service will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery, located at 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas, 79907, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
