Alicia Urquidi

Alicia, the heart of our family, was a matriarch of unconditional love, a woman of faith, and a warrior through illness who gave of herself without ever expecting a return. She nurtured those around her through her delicious cooking. She found delight in tending her garden and filled her home with the beauty she created in everything she touched. Her greatest joy was the laughter of her grandchildren. She taught us all to appreciate the beauty in the small things.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Fernando Urquidi, her parents, Tomas and Elvira Rivas, sister Esther Rivas, and her brother Alejandro Rivas.

She is survived by her husband, Jose L Urquidi, children: Armando Urquidi, Jose Luis Jr Urquidi, Veronica (Victor) Pacheco, sister: Irma (Jorge), and her brothers, Arturo (Rosemary), Armando (Eva), and Tomas (Ann). She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren: Tomas (Rebecca), Fernando Jr (Brenda), Robert, Desiree, Joseph, Matthew, Stephanie, Isabella, Vivian, and Eric. Her great grandchildren: Ezra, Lucas, Arian, Alexander, Alijah, Zoey, Ariyah, Luna.
