He is preceded in death by his parents Ambrocio and Julia Camacho, his wife Rosa Camacho, his sisters Elvia M. Rubio and Bertha A. Quezada, his niece Priscilla M. Harris and nephew Daniel Rivas. Amado is survived by his sisters: Martha Quintana (Hector), Mary Camacho, Thelma Dominguez (Ignacio), 15 nieces and nephews and their extended families.
He worked in the building material industry all his life helping customers, contractors, and anyone else who asked for his assistance to find what they needed and were looking for. His last job prior to retirement was driving a truck in town for Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber. Contractors would call the company requesting they send Amado to deliver their material because he was careful and caring in the manner he performed his job at the construction sites. All of the items he delivered always arrived on time and in perfect condition.
All his life he took excellent care of his gardening and his yard at home. He took great pride to ensure all was in perfect condition, and it always was.
One thing he really loved were the Dallas Cowboys! Win or lose he was a true blue fan. Go Cowboys!
Amado was an usher and parishioner at St. Marks Catholic Church for many years.
