Can't believe it will be 8 years already. Time has passed so quick but has stood still at the same time. How I wished you could have been here to share in all of Isaiah's and Elijah's milestones. George - I just recently found out about Ana's passing. My condolences to you and your children.  You will always be in my prayers. Ana, as you well know, was a wonderful person and forever friend.

Ma its been a hard month without you..my babies miss u so much.My heart aches for u and I ask the Lord for strength everyday,for I know that this is his will. Your morning prayer that sits on ur "beauty" mirror says "the lord will not lead me to something that he will not see me through" I find comfort in that. Mama I want to yell I want to lose control I want to do something that will heal this awful ache in my heart but then I hear your voice saying "mija u need to pray about it" ay mom ok I will pray and u will give me guidance and u will comfort me and I will feel ur loving arms embracing me..I love u forever and my boys will too!

Ana, You will be missed greatly.  May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you at Texas Tech.  You were a great supervisor, mentor and always uplifting.  I will forever cherish the time at Texas Tech working for you.

George and family, We are still in shock hearing the news of Ana's passing.  We were not told until yesterday (Dec. 31st).  We are sorry we missed the services.  Please know that you and your children and all the family are in our thoughts and prayers.  Ana was such a beautiful lady who touched so many lives with her warm smile and abundant hugs.  We were all lucky to have known her.  She is in a much better place with so many of our loved ones. I feel blessed knowing she will be watching over all of us.  We will miss Ana dearly! No words are enough to express the rich embraces that were felt time and time again from Tia Ana. At first I felt so empty, than I thought how great it is to have an angel up above watching over our family again embraced by Tia Ana. Tia you are greatly missed, but knowing that I (we) can ask for the warm and comforting HUG that only you could give at any time is such a treasure. Our hearts are at peace.

to our primo jorge, niece anel, nephews: jorge jr & saul & families.  our prima ana will be greatly & sincerely missed by her immediate-extended family...the flores' primos.  ana was more than a prima but more like a sister. god's love, kindness, faith & devotion for all was some of ana's beautiful traits.  it was always our pleasure to see her & jorge @ family gatherings or social or church events.  heaven must now shine brighter & its angelic choir sang in a glorified pitch as her soul was gently lifted into his kingdom.  the souls that must have been immediately linked together on that early morning her life sadly ended..are her parents:  tio lupe & tia fina, her tia licha & tio celso; as well as many others from our families. her absence is hard to accept....but our faith in the lord will give you all the courage to take each day without her 1 day at a time.  the tears you cry & wipe off your faces are tears of love & memories.  god blessed us all with her life & love..but once again our hearts have been broken by the loss of prima ana.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Carrasco/Alvarez family. Though I couldn't be there physically for the services, I was there in spirit and prayer. Ana, you will forever have a special place in my heart. You lived your life as a true role model...so caring, so selfless and so genuine. Your signature hugs were the best, and will be dearly missed. To the Carrasco family my sincerest condolences. I have to say that I am still in shock. I was truly blessed when I met her. I left Texas Tech in 1996. But even though I didnt see her, when we would run into one another it was as if we never stopped talking to one another. We would talk for hours. I will never forget her hugs, those hugs were amazing. I will never forget her laugh and that smile it was contagious. Thank you Ana for your prayers, your advice and your friendship. You will always remain in my heart. Till we see each other again, I Love You Ana!! Your my angel.

Ana I was truly blessed when I met you while working at TX Tech (1990-2000).  I use to look up to you, such a classy and beautiful person.  Tho, I was in another department (Ortho) you were always very pleasant.  How lucky Heaven must be having an angel like you.

Ana, even though you are with God, you are still making us laugh. Our lives have been so Blessed to have you in them. Your infectious smile, your sincere love, your wonderful "Ana" hugs will carry us through this life until we meet again. I know you will be with me as I pray to continue with "our" Homebound. My sincerest condolences to Jorge and all of Ana's family. She loved her family very much and shared so much about her grandsons and their time together.

Ana, we will miss your warm smiles especially on Sinday morning while preparing for 11 am Mass and while cleaning up after Sunday Masses, joking about the time that the wine vase fell and broke and trying to not break another one. Thank you for helping Frances with the Homebound brothers and sisters whom you helped bring the Eucharist on a weekly basis. Also thank you for helping Frances carry my birthday cakes to the retreat center and then hiding in the closet so that I wouldn't have a clue about my birthday celebration.

This must seem like a bad dream that you are going to wake up from. I am so very sorry for your great loss. I didn't know Ana very well, George, but I know that she was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I just want you to know that your Colorado family is thinking of you and and holding the family up in prayer. We are so sorry that we can not be there tomorrow as the flights are all overbooked because of the holidays, but we are with you in spirit.

I still cannot believe she is gone.  I met her 14 years ago when Naomi took me to a Carrasco family picnic on the 4th of July.  I don't recall ever seeing her without a smile on her face. Always kind, always helpful, and always inspirational. She touched many lives, and will be missed.  A very special lady.

Ana you broke my heart when you left, but i rejoiced because I knew where you had gone. You were my friend, supervisor, advisor. There are too many titles to name, But most of all you were my guardian angel and sister in Christ. I will miss praying with you, your smile and laugh. My condolences to your family, and your Tex Tech Family. I lost a friend but my personal family gained a real Gardian Angel. I love You Ms Ana and will miss you. We will continue our conversations for I know you will always be very close to me.

Tia Ana will be greatly missed!! She touched many lives & will continue to be in our hearts always. It seems as if it was just yesterday hearing her call me "mi reyna." My continuing support & prayers go out to our whole Alvarez/Carrasco family.

I know that we didn't know Ana too well, but she was still family to us.  We met her and George at the restaurant they had. I remember how nice she was and we never forgot how well we were treated. Our little church has felt the loss of a borrowed  Angel who dedicated her whole life in the name of our Lord to help so many in our community thru Santa Lucia Church.  She volunteered wherever asked, worked extra long hours annually at the Church's biggest fundraiser, and loved helping children every chance she could.  Truly missed will be her warm handshake, caring hugs, and genuine, loving smile. May God welcome her with his loving arms, as we remember her in our little church!
