Ana Chavez Knowles, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Ann Magallanez and Rosa Marie Knowles and her granddaughter, Aysia Katiana Magallanez. She was preceded in death by her parents Pedro Chavez and Paula Manriquez Chavez, her brother Bonifacio Chavez and her beloved husband, Thomas Clyde Knowles. She lovingly dedicated her life to her daughters and granddaughter. The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has offered their friendship and supported us in thought and prayer, as well as anyone who extended care for her throughout her journey. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 16th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell, 8817 Dyer Street with Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 17th at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 11:00 am West Shelter.
