

Andrew "Andy" Espinosa, age 62, of Horizon City, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was surrounded by loved ones as his soul departed, following 7 years of battling cancer. Andy was proudly born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He spent 30 years living in various places around the U.S. before returning to his beloved home city in 2018.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Juan Espinosa; mother, Delia Beltran Espinosa; sister, Esther Gatewood; and daughter-in-law, Judith A. Espinosa.
He is survived by his partner, Rocio; son, Andrew and his wife, Judy; daughters, Laura, Erin, Jenna and her partner, Michael; grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Noah, and Ezra; brothers, George L., Johnny, Henry, and George A.; sisters, Carole and Rosemary, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who were dear to him.
Andy held many accomplishments, such as conducting the band while attending Bel-Air High School, earning a bachelor's degree from California State Fullerton, creating two start-up businesses, and serving as an elected official on the Board of Selectman for the Town of Medway.
In his adult years, he could be found coaching his daughters’ basketball team, golfing with friends, typing software code, playing with the family beagle, Neo, or enjoying a glass of red wine. Andy was a fan of good music and good food, especially Mexican. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
A memorial service for Andrew will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, followed by a prayer service at 4:00 PM.
