A proud El Paso native, Angie was a talented florist whose creativity and passion for flowers touched countless lives throughout the community. Many knew her as the owner of Angie's Floral Design, the first flower shop she opened in El Paso, and later Expressions of Love.
Through her work, she helped families celebrate life's happiest moments and find comfort during its most difficult ones.
After many successful years in the floral industry, Angie retired to devote more time to the people she loved most-her family and her large circle of cherished friends. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those closest to her, sharing laughter, making memories, and always offering love and support.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Angelita Suriano and Viktorio Suriano, and her daughter-in-law, Connie Booth-Vega.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Jose Vega; her sons, Fernie and Arturo (Donna); and her daughter, Lisa. She also leaves behind her sisters, Carolina (Ramon) Carmen, and Araceli; her brother, Victor (Olga); and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Her favorite role in life was being "Grandma." She lovingly cherished her grandchildren, Marc [Jordan], Angie Marie, Gino, and Julian, as well as her great-grandchildren, Audrey, Aiden and Audren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Angie leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, perseverance, and kindness. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, on August 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79915, on August 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
