Anita Pastran

February 5, 1939 -August 23, 2026

Anita Salinas Pastran, 87, of El Paso, Texas, peacefully passed away at home on August 23, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Anita was born on February 5, 1939, in El Paso, Texas to Leopoldo and Micaela Salinas. Throughout her life, family was at the heart of everything she did. Her love, strength, and devotion helped shape generational values she instilled in her family that will continue to live on in those who loved her.

She is survived by her children Raymundo Pastran Jr., Robert Salinas, Raul Pastran, Mary Ann Pastran, Richard Pastran, Michelle Pastran Atayde and her brother Ramon Salinas. Her twenty-two grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, each of whom was a special part of the family she loved so dearly.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Raymundo Pastran and her son Roger Pastran. We find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with them.

As the beloved matriarch of the Pastran Family Anita leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured simply in years, but in the generations of family she loved, guided and brought together. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love, memories and the traditions she passed down will remain in the hearts of her family for generations to come. She has left a void in our family that we can never fill.

Funeral Services will all be held

at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church

324 Lincoln St. Anthony NM.

Her ashes will be laid to rest at the Columbarium right after mass in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
