I just found out about Annie's passing. I was her hair stylist many years ago back in the 90s. I moved away for about a year and a half and never reconnected with Annie. We shared many a story and had many a laugh. She was always very encouraging and had a wonderful spirit. With a heavy heart all I can say is I miss her.

Dear Blanco family,  
I just learned of this tragic loss.  Miss Annie has stayed in my thoughts throughout the years. She impacted so many lives in such a wonderful way.  I feel privileged to have been her student for many years.  
You may remember that my mother (Karen Scheie) would sew costumes and do some alterations.  
I think of you often and wish you peace.

I just heard about Miss Blanco's passing today. I am so sorry and send my heartfelt condolences. Miss Blanco enstilled a love for ballet and the arts in me. She was my ballet teacher for many years and I am forever grateful for her love and the grace she not only lived her life with, but passed on to her students. I shared my love of ballet with my daughter who studied at the School of American Ballet in Lincoln Center and  went on to the Boston Ballet. What a wonderful human being Miss Blanco was. May she rest in peace surrounded by God's love.

Miss Blanco was always one of my favorite teachers. She was a friend and mentor and had a huge impact on my life as a student at Radford. (c/o '76). What a beautiful, graceful dancer she was. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed

Mrs. Blanco, my most sincerest condolences to you and your beautiful family on the passing of Anne.  She has been such a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend to me for decades.  Over the years she has brought many smiles to my face, laughter to my heart, has helped me through some of the most challenging things in my life and has taught me how to be gracious, joyful and driven.  Her words often fill my mind and guide my actions to do better each day.  Her love over the years has shaped who I am today and I am eternally grateful.  She will be deeply missed.

It was my honor and pleasure to work with Annie at Coronado.  She was the most gentle, caring person I have ever known, and she touched many lives.  Annie, you will be missed.

Mrs. Blanco, my condolences to you and the rest of your family on Annie's passing.  When she was at Loretto, she was very good friends with Jennie Navar and Domi Martinez.  She was in the class ahead of me. Dolores Martinez.  May she rest in peace.  God love you and bring you comfort in your loss.

I went to Loretto with Annie and have fond memories. She would do anything to help you. My prayers go out to her family.  May she Rest In Peace.

Rest in peace Miss Blanco!  I will always remember being in your classes at Loretto.  You were such a young and beautiful teacher and I loved being in your class.

My first day at Loretto, seventh grade, 1980, Middle School, I walked into your dance class and you said to me," I love your shirt!"  My shirt had the words "No Sweat" printed across the front. Thank you for teaching me to love dance. I will never forget you.

I remember Ms Blanco as a beautiful graceful dance teacher.   I pray she's dancing in heaven and at peace.  ❤

Ms. Blanco was my dance teacher at Loretto Academy. I will always remember and appreciate the impact she had in my life. Beaulful Ms. Black you are dancing among the Angels now.

Anne you fought a courageous battle with so much grace and dignity. Our hearts will be filled with wonderful memories and joyful times we had together. We love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.

We have lost a beautiful and caring woman. I  feel lucky to have known Annie and will forever remember my daughter wanting to go see her "Banana" when she was a toddler. Annie was always so patient with her no matter what was going on. She will be missed by so many.  My thoughts and prayers are with Gramma Blanco, Eddie, Michael, Bonnie and their families .

Thank you for your guidance and patience during our classes at Loretto and the dance recitals at the Chamizal. I have fond memories of dance class on the blue roller rink floor at Imperial. Your gracefullness, kind heart and beautiful smile will truly be missed. May God keep youby his side and bless the entire Blanco family during this sad and difficult time.

You were a great friend to me at Loretto!  Always looking out for us and supporting our sports activities and giving us "life" advice.  I'll miss calling you on your birthday, hearing your funny answering machine messages, talking about your puppies and hearing about your latest collection item(s).  I have and will miss you!!

I was blessed to have known such a beautiful person as Annie. From the early years at the roller rink, to being one of her dancing students, to her being a wonderful roommate while I was finishing college...she was so kind with a caring heart. I will forever be grateful to Anne, and what a great friend and inspiration she was to me and others, with a smile that could light up a room and her beautiful words of wisdom and encouragement that could make anyone feel better on their toughest day. Your strength, grace, and faith through this five year battle was amazing and even on your worst days you always found a way to still smile. Annie was the best at teaching those of us girls with 2 left feet how to Tap dance. I loved her class and the wonderful teacher she was.  She will now dance with the angels. Prayers and hugs to the Blanco family.

You made me who I need to be. You made me the star you always told me I am. I remember the first day stepping into the dance studio and you made me feel right at home. You will be truly missed. May you Rest In Peace Miss Annie.

Annie was so sweet and beautiful.  I was so sad to hear of her death.  I got to talk to her one last time, for which I'm grateful.  We were surprised to learn that my mother Jill taught with her mother Alma years before we met.  I send prayers for her and her family.

Anne, you had such a beautiful soul. When I think of you, one word comes to mind, "Grace" in all you did, in how you moved and what you would say. May God embrace and keep you in his loving arms for eternity. Your life has touched many here and we will forever hold those memories forever.  God Bless the Blanco Family, may he give you strength through this and bring comfort for you all in the memories of Anne you share.

Annie was such a sweet, caring person who always had a smile on her face.  She was kind and loving and really did what she loved - dance.  Annie will be truly missed by her Loretto Sisters.  Rest in peace Annie and now you can share your beauty of dance with Our Lord and Blessed Mother.  You have  received your angel wings and now in the comfort of your heavenly home.  My prayers for your earthly family during this most difficult time.
