

Antonio Labrado SR, 97 a longtime resident of El Paso, Texas who was a Navy Veteran died on November 25, 2024 in his home peacefully in his sleep surrounded with love and prayers by his son Peter and his family. He played football for Texas Western and was an Alumni of Cathedral High School. Antonio retired from being an entrepreneur who ran a successful Charter Bus Company for over 25 plus years ( Sunland/Sunset Coaches, Inc.). He was devote Catholic, a parishioner of St Mathew’s Catholic Church, and an ACTS brother with his son Peter. He loved his family. His interests were football (Notre Dame was his favorite football team), boxing, history, and a motor home hobbyist. He enjoyed in his spare time a beer with his brother Luis Labrado or a good cigar with a fine whiskey with his son(s). Playing chess with his grandchildren and telling stories about his life.
Preceded in death by wife, Minnie Labrado; his parents, Luis and Paula Labrado, brother Luis Labrado and Luis”s wife Connie Labrado, brother Peter Labrado, sister Soledad Ojeda, sister Mother Superior Mary Asunta Labrado; grandson Michael Joseph Pickett, and great grandson Damian Labrado.
He is survived by son, Peter and his wife Rosemary Labrado of El Paso, TX; his granddaughters Eva Sofia and Alyssa, grandsons Marc Jacob, Michael, and Alec; Juan and his wife Jill of Tustin, CA, grandchildren Jordan and Janay; Angie and her husband Frank Wilburn of Baltimore, Md; Rosie of Austin, TX and grandchildren John James and Daniella; Cathy and her husband Ben Botello of Redmond OR, and granddaughter Rebecca; Danny and his wife Janie of Austin, TX, grandchildren Daniel and Lucas and Bernadette; Antonio Labrado, Jr. and his wife Lidia of El Paso, TX, grandchildren, Gina, Eliasaph and Luis Fernando;
He is survived by his sisters Guillermina Petitte and Bertha M Labrado. He also is survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Reynaldo (Ray) Moreno , Juan R Gonzalez, Arturo Chavez, Alec Lopez and MarcJacob, Michael, and Eva Labrado.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A prayer service will occur Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at St. Luke Catholic Church, 930 E. Redd Rd, El Paso, TX, 79912. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
