Luis Armando Luna suddenly passed away on February 3, 2021. He was born on February 21, 1942 to Manuel Luna and Esperanza Robles Luna. Mando stood tall and looked tough at first sight, but anyone who really got to know him found that he was the most caring, friendliest, gentle giant. His unselfish willingness to lend a helping hand whenever a family emergency arose was evident in so many instances. Known for his fortitude, perseverance and can do attitude took him to different cities to take on managerial and supervisory roles for most of his working career. Mando never was shy. He always looked like he was running for political office. Mando was most known for being the Job Stewart for the union advocating for employee rights at Prices Creamery where he worked and retired after 40 years. This is where he met Guadalupe (Lupita) Macias, the love of his life, enjoying 34 years married life, and fulfilling their vows “Through sickness and in health, Til death do we part.”
He was preceded in death by both his parents Manuel and Esperanza and his grandson Jaime Luna. He is survived by his wife Guadalupe, sons Mando, Manny, Jimmy, Johnny, Henry, Louie and daughters Yvette and Espie. Also survived by brothers Hector(Tati), Jaime, Javier, Rafael(Rafa) and Sergio. Most precious to Mando are the many grandkids, nieces and nephews.
