Arturo "Tury" Orozco, 40, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on April 3, 1984, in El Paso, Texas, Tury was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who brought joy and warmth to those around him throughout his life.
Known for his ever-present smile and infectious laughter, Tury had a way of making people feel heard and valued. He was someone who truly cared about others and approached life with sensitivity and kindness. His presence was a source of comfort and happiness to those fortunate enough to know him.
As a passionate sports fan, Tury cheered wholeheartedly for the Dallas Cowboys, Boston Celtics, and LA Dodgers. Whether celebrating victories or standing by his teams through tough seasons, his enthusiasm never wavered. His love for sports was more than just fandom; it was a way to connect with family and friends over shared excitement and spirited discussions.
Arturo is survived by his father, Manuel; his mother, Gloria; his brothers, Manny and Hector; his sisters, Letty and Patty; and his beloved son, Arturo Jr. He also leaves behind many nieces — Rebecca, Elizabeth, Tatiana, Maraya, Bailey, and Jasmine—and nephews Jonathan and David. In addition to his immediate family, he had numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins who were an important part of his life. He was preceded in death by his brother David.
Tury’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering support for those he loved will never be forgotten. May his spirit continue to bring comfort to all who cherished him.
Visitation for Tury will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas 79904. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Christ the Savior Catholic Church, 5301 Wadsworth Ave, El Paso, Texas 79924. Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904.
