He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Francisca Valenzuela and his sisters Maria Isabel Sanchez and Cecilia Valenzuela.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Irene B. Valenzuela and his children Raquel (John) Martinez, Arturo Jr., and Ricardo (Claudia) Valenzuela. Also left to cherish his memory are five grandchildren Emilia Veronica, Joshua Rene, and Matthew Joseph Martinez, Nathan and Willie Acevedo.
Arturo was a proud Bowie Bear and Army Veteran. He continued to contribute to his country as he worked and retired from White Sands Missile Range.
