Audon Tafoya

his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Raquel Tafoya. Audon is survived by

his children, Helen, Johnny (Elvia) and Fernando Tafoya, sisters-in-law Alicia Tafoya and Martha Maesse,

and brother-in-law Mike Romero Jr. (Olga). Audon and Raquel were blessed with four grandchildren,

thirteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Audon was born in Cuchillo, New Mexico and maintained a lifelong love of his land in Cuchillo and his family history. He retired from the Southwest Portland Cement Company after thirty-five years.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 at Hillcrest Funeral Home located at 1060

North Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas, 79915. Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

Service will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church located

at 503 Hunter Drive, El Paso, Texas 79915. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400

Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938.
