Aurelio Diaz Jr.

Aurelio was a loving father to his four children: Diana Díaz Meza, his son Aurelio Díaz III, who preceded him in death and now watches over him as his guardian angel, Joanna Díaz, and Nichole Díaz.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, and husband. To those who knew him, Aurelio was loving, fun, spontaneous, generous, and full of life. He had a way of creating memories and bringing his own unique energy wherever he went.

Above all, Aurelio was a proud and loving grandfather. He was blessed with nine grandchildren, with a tenth on the way. His grandchildren were Angel, his first grandson; Lexy, Brianna, George, Leah, Isaiah, Janaya,Anahi, and Rudy, and his soon-to-be-born grandson, Johnny Rico Aurelio Meza.

Aurelio’s greatest legacy will not be measured in years, but in the love he gave, the memories he created, and the family he leaves behind. Though his absence will be deeply felt, his love will continue through his children, grandchildren, family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, on August 22, 2026 at 12:00 pm.
