Aurora "Bora" Vasquez

Aurora “Bora” G. Vasquez, 74, born on September 20, 1937, passed away on November 29, 2011. She was a loving homemaker and devoted wife who participated as a twirler for the class of 1956 at Bowie High School. She dedicated her life to her family and served as the link that held our family and friends together. She taught us all to be respectful, generous, and loving. She enjoyed traveling with her family and was never afraid to make someone smile. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Miguel Vasquez Sr. Sister: Carmen Maglorino. Children: Gloria Isela Rios, Bertha Anne Vasquez, Miguel Vasquez Jr., and Thelma Loza. Seven Grandchildren: Miguel III, Stephanie Marie, Robert, Ilene, Regina Rae, Jean Marie, and Nathan Daniel. Three Great Grandchildren: Aaron, Hailey Star, and Miguel IV. A special thank you to her physicians and the nurses and personnel of DSI for the special care that was given to our mom. A public viewing will be held on December 5, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, at 5:00 pm. Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. The burial services will begin at 10:00 am on December 6, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and her body will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Funeral Services entrusted to FDA Harding-Orr & McDaniel 320 Montana Avenue.
