Ballardo dedicated over 20 years of his life as a truck driver, traveling across 48 states with pride, hard work, and determination. The open road became a part of who he was, and though his years behind the wheel, he built not only a career but a life marked by commitment and perseverance.
Above all else, Ballardo was a loving husband, the best father, and an even greater "Poppa", as his grandchildren called him. His family was the center of his world, and he found his greatest joy in the moments spent with those he loved most.
Ballardo had a passion riding his motorcycle and embraced the freedom and adventure it brought him. Though he may have had appeared big and tall on the outside, those closest to him knew the truth. He was a gentle giant and a huge teddy bear with a heart of gold. His kindness, warmth, and caring spirit touched countless lives and left lasting memories that will never be forgotten.
Ballardo is survived by his loving wife, Norma Salcido; his father, Ballardo Salcido Sr; his children Ballardo Gilbert Salcido, Erik Salcido, Marissa Marshall and Julissa Porras; brother Danny Salcido. Ballardo also leaves 5 grandchildren to cherish his memory.
