Beatrice Borunda

Beatrice Borunda went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7th, 2025. Born in Alpine, Texas on January 12, 1929. She graduated from Alpine High School and from International Business College in El Paso, Texas. She married the love of her life, Robert Borunda on November 8th, 1952 and they moved to El Paso, Texas.

Preceded in death by her father, Agustin Leyva, her mother, Jesus Leyva, brothers, Abelardo Leyva, Agustin Leyva Jr., Alberto Leyva, and Palemon Leyva and by her beloved husband, Robert Borunda.

She is survived by daughter, Victoria Borunda of El Paso, Texas, son Robert Jr. and wife, Teri of El Paso, Texas, son David and wife, Claudia of Crowley, Texas, son Danny and wife, Kathy of Carrolton, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 9 nieces and nephews.

She retired as Office Manager of El Paso Baptist Association and was a member of Scotsdale Baptist Church. Over the years, she served as secretary in various Baptist organizations and volunteered at the Baptist Clinic for many years.

A funeral service for Beatrice will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Scotsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Ave. El Paso, Texas 79925 with a Graveside Service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery East, 12400 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79938.
