Belia M. Parra

Passed away peacefully in her home, on March 29, 2024 surrounded by her children. Born on September 17,1926 to Ramon Mellado and Francisca Armijo in El Paso, Tx. Belia is survived by her loving children Stella C. Cade, Arturo Parra, Richard Parra (partner Glenda Wesley), Sylvia P. Verghese, daughter-in-law Peggy Parra, 9 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Belia was an amazing,strong, beautiful woman with a loving heart and a wonderful sense of humor which stayed with her till the end. She was a single mother of five who worked tirelessly for many years as a meat wrapper to provide for her children. She retired at age 62 and lived life well enjoying traveling with her sisters, bingo and many family gatherings.

Preceded in death by her son, Salvador Parra, Jr., son-in-law Tommy Holmes, her parents Ramon and Francisca Mellado, siblings Lucy Aceves, Anna Caldera, Lilia Paz, Emma Porras and Ramon Mellado, Jr. (Sonny). May they all rest in peace.

We Love you Mommy with all our heart and soul, we will cherish your memory forever, we were blessed to have a loving Mom, you will be greatly missed but we are comforted and at peace knowing you are resting with your Son, your Mellado Family and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
