

Beloved wife and mother Betty Capehart went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 17th, 2015. Betty was born August 5th, 1931 in Yakima, Washington to Rufus and Margerie Hirsch, but was a long-time resident of El Paso, Texas. She was a graduate of Austin High School and attended Texas Western College (now UTEP). She is survived by her husband of 65 years Charles, her daughters Mary Ann Vernon, Kathryn Gardner and son-in-law Richard Gardner, grandsons Travis and Charles Gardner and daughter-in-law Laiza, great-grandson Charles Gardner Jr., all of El Paso, grandson Michael Gardner and daughter-in-law Lindsey of Edinburg, Texas, sisters Lillian Bidal of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Louise Duke and brother-in-law James Duke of El Paso, Texas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church, 805 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79902. Interment will follow at 11:00 A.M. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
